What is PDR?
Paintless dent removal (PDR) is a method of removing minor dents and door dings from your car without using body filler and no paint job involved. The idea is to apply strategic pressure to gently massage the dent out from behind the panel using special PDR tools. The original paint of your car will not be affected.

Can PDR replace body work?
No. PDR is a good method of removing minor dents and hail damage without affecting the original paint of the car. But PDR is not suitable for dents which has serious paint damage or dents which are created by car accident. You need to go to a bodyshop if paint job is necessary for repairing the dent.
Which panel of a car can be fixed by PDR?
Any metal panel of a car including doors, front fenders, rear quarter panels, hood, roof and trunk lid are fixable by PDR. However, each of the above panels has about 5 - 10% non repairable area such as the very edge of the panels or sharp bodyline of the panels or double layer metal portion of the panels. Dents on bumper are not included in PDR repair because it is made of plastic.
How long will it take to repair a dent?
It depends on the size, location and the depth of the dent. Normally, most dents can be done within 1 - 3 hours while you wait. You don't lose your car for days as compare to bodyshop repair.
